The new tube to tubesheet welding head is suited for welding tubes with an inside diameter of 10 mm up to 70 mm. The welding head is water-cooled up to the blowpipe. The whole Lorch T-serie is available for current generators (180 A up to 300 A) and also the V-serie (CanBus must be carried to the outside). A good water-cooler with an adequate cooling-activity is very important for a tube to tubesheet welding. The rotating endless-collector is equipped with synthetic seals, which create a stiffness if there are too high engine currents. This can result in defective engine cards „³ adequate cooling-activity and monitoring of the flow rate!
The bolts (centering cartridges) and arbors are compatible with well-known Italian manufacturers. If you already have instruments and tools in your house, you can complete these cost-saving or use already existing equipment. The welding head can be used with orbital welding-instruments from several manufacturers e.g. Orbitec. Therefor no reconstuctions are necessary.
